It is a Christian nation - 30 % are born again. Zambia's economy that was mostly based on copper prices fell since the late 1970 and still did not recover. They had a very stable political life since 1991 but at the moment after the elections some fear crept in the hearts of people and some want to create instability in the beautiful country. The population of Zambia is between 11 - 12 million people and 50% are children, that is about 5 - 6 million children in Zambia. There are 3 widely spoken languages (English, Bemba and Nyanja.) Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) Zambia The theme for year of 2008 come from the scripture in Lamentations 2:19                                             " Cry for the lost child" The Objective:     1.   To reach the children with the Gospel more than ever before.     2.   To disciple and to help the save child to grow in their relationship with the Lord.     3.   Help the unchurched child to go to a Bible believing church. Strategy and Planning:    *   Every worker to be motivated in leading children to the Lord.    *   To share the vision and need in the communities with Pastors and church leaders    *   Training young people and anyone who has a heart for the lost         children with the basics of "How to lead a child to Chris"t.    *   To challenge the children in the Good News Clubs® to be a witness to their friends.    *   Challenge the children in the Good News Club® to give a Mail Box         Lesson to a friend who does not know Jesus as their Savior.
