General Information:
Jossefa Ngomane is married to Marlete ( Alice ) and have a son Otniel.
In the past Mocambique was a country where South Africans
went on holiday and was viewed as a rich established
country. Since 1975 things however changed due
to the outbreak of the civil war.
Mass starvation took place because of the lack of
food. Today Mocambique is the country with one of the highest infant mortality rates in the world.
The people are mostly not literate and the floods of
the past 6 years had a devastating effect on the lives and economy of the country.
A $300 per month can supply a worker with enough money
to do the work
and to look after a family. Over 8 million of the 16 million
population are children and most of them don't know the Lord or are
religious without Christ.
CEF Mocambique has 4 full
time workers and they reached 4246 children during
2005. 37 Good News Clubs are running reaching 3682 children on a weekly basis
with the Gospel.
CEF workers are reaching the children
through weekly Good News clubs; Creches ministries; Fairs and Personal evangelism. They are training
teachers to reach the children and are promoting
CEF by sharing their vision and challenging Pastors
and leaders to reach the unreached children.
