General Information:
For many people Mauritius is a Island
of sun, white beaches,coral reefs and sugar cane
fields a time to spend their vacation .
Mauritius has a population of 1,2 million
people and most
of them are practising the Hindu religion.
Pauline has
a heart for the lost children of Mauritius and to
bring Christ to them. Due to the religion, many believe
they can serve
more than one God. Pauline knows that through Jesus children can
be set free from this
bondage of religion and bring them into a living relationship with
the one and only true God.
Mauritius is a well-developed country with highly
educated people, and a very low percentage of unemployment.
Although Mauritius is surrounded by water they have a
problem with fresh water and are dependent on rain and cyclones for
the provision of fresh water.
CEF Mauritius have
1 full time worker and another 1 applied becoming
a full time worker and are currently doing her 1
year internship. They have 2 volunteer workers.
There is 6 Good News Clubs and during the last 4
months 42 children have been reached
for Christ.
Training:
Seminar Training are given every
Thursday at 15h30 at the CEF Office. Please phone
the office if you want to be part of this training.
Projects:
1.
The
devotional books no.1 to 6 are being printed and
distributed free of charge to the children of Mauritius.
This devotional books will help the children to
learn more about Jesus and will help them grow in
their relationship with God.
2. As the CEF
workers need to travel on the Island to reach the
children and there are some remote places where
there is no
public transport available, they are raising
funds to purches a 2 x 4 vehicle for using in
this ministry.
3. CEF Mauritius are in the process
of building their offices and developing a camping
site for the children camps.We received a donation
of US 13132$.
4. Printing brochures
for CEF to promote the ministry among children.
5.
Printing of prayer cards. The cost MUR 16,100 we
still need MUR 4,500 (150$).

Requests:
* Please
pray for the finances that
are needed to finance all these projects.
* Pray
for more workers, as the harvest fields are ripe,
but the workers are few.
* Pray for the children,
to receive Jesus as their Savior.
* Pray for
the 15 students That has done the TCE level 1 course
2 have started a Good News Club.
* Pray for
the Island of Rodrigues as we going to plant CEF
there 30 children has heard the Good
News and the promotion went well.
* Pray for the new board
members.
*Pray for
the rent of the office MUR 3000 per month
*Pray
for the outreach in Curepipe with about 35 children.
