General Information: Alberto and Juliet have 7 children and does a great work for the Lord in Angola. Angola is a large country in the South West of Africa on the Atlantic Ocean. For about 40 years there is an ongoing war in Angola. First against the Portuguese as colonial power and then they got involved in civil war since 1975 until 2004. Angola is rich on oil and diamonds, but although a rich country the people are very poor and can be counted as one of the 30 poorest countries in the world. Against leading currencies their money is worth very little, (Kwanzas) and very little is for sale in this war torn country. The infant mortality is of the 10 highest countries in the world. Because of a very low calorie intake 3rd lowest in the world infants die easy and the life expectancy is of the lowest in the world. Landmines are still planted in many places and many people can be seen on the streets without a leg, arm or scared by explosion. Jesus can make a difference in the life of the Angolans. Alberto and his team worked without any income for years and reached more than 10.000 children during 2006.
With as little as $200 a month we can appoint a full
time worker and for each $200 another. If we can get enough workers
and reach enough children the war will never start again, because they will show
the love of God to all people. As Rev. Frik spoke to some of the citizens in Angola about AIDS the man answered, we don't know about this yet. The war is occupying all thoughts. This was in 2001. In 2006 aids became the new war. Pray for Alberto and his team.
